Across Kenya, organisations with genuinely powerful stories, brands, NGOs, government institutions, and emerging businesses were producing video content that felt hollow, generic, and disconnected from the people it was meant to reach. The problem wasn't the stories. The problem was how they were being told.
A group of Kenyan creatives and strategists came together with a shared conviction: that Kenya deserved a production company built entirely around its own visual language, culture, and communication needs. Not a transplant of a Western production model. Something new. Something rooted.
Shikisha Africa was that answer.
